Zhaylen

Zhaylen does not want to take over the world, she is much too selfish and lazy for such a headache. But messing with the minds of those that think they run the world, now that is fun. Having power and being bored can be a dangerous thing.

Her sister having married the king, gave place her to serve as advisor to the king and stay with her sister as maid and guardian, much to the kings chagrin. When an assassination attempt on the queen went wrong and the king himself nearly died, the blame was put on Zhaylen. Fearing the retaliation of their family, as this was a political marriage, and the complete lack of proof Zhaylen had anything to do with it, she was simply exiled instead of executed. The remote island was more of a vacation than a punishment, besides, she had a long life ahead of her, they would need her. She could wait.
